Hei i have some problem when i finished install wm2k05
Can someone help me?
my problem :
1. my camera button is not working and my record button also
2. i can't access my contract in my sim
3. i can't backup my contaract too

hi neo_ ,

those 3 problems you mentioned had been exhaustedly discussed in the forum & may i suggest for you to check those posts/threads by doing a "forum search" for the following keywords: record & camera button, SIM & backup contacts.

i'm sure those posts/threads will give you sufficient knowledge on those problems.

ok,
for some himalaya devices, the record & camera buttons doesn't work anymore after upgrade to WM5. unfortunately there is no direct solution to those problems.

to compensate for the lost record & camera button functions, forumers here use third party applications to map the record & cam buttons to the working buttons like contacts & calendar. another option is to use the softkeys to map the camera button.

a forum search would lead you to those applications used & the softkey hacks to map the camera button.

Hi, have used your excellent system to go to WM5, no problems apparent at all, which is a revelation considering that I've hed an O2 xda2 for 2 years.

It's now working better than ever, like it should!

What I would like to do is remove the O2 splash screen. I've set up persistent storage and don't seem to have access to splash screen file to update. Any clues, links or leads?

I've done asearch of this excellent site, but I don't have access to the two results that are thrown up.

hi micken,
splash screens are available in the download section of this "wonderful site". copy the cabs & install in your device to 'overwrite' the O2 splash screen.

I done the upgrade & rvrything is running perfectly thanks to all those who this project would not been possible without their efforts.

But I only have One issue & I need urgent help in it. since I have done the upgrade on my device I un able to sycrize my contact to & from my device & it causing my a big probloms as my work depends on on these contacts. I tried the old activeSync & the new one but no use, infact on the first try I lost almost 300 of my 750 Contacts on my device & I connot use the old Backup Manager files as I tried that also.

Can someone help me in this please.

i would like to help you out with a specific solution but, different setups in hardware & programs installed in our PC's means different solutions.
Please key in the keyword "ActiveSync" in the Search Forum & check out which one of the 477 posts solves your problem!

i have a problem with copying and moving data with AS 4.1 and WM5 ...
i can't copying and moving data from device to desktop unless i click the copy / move item at left side bar.....the right click n dragging items don't work
can't someone explain this pls....
