How To: Adjust PagePool for the XDA Atom

Tools:
1. Image file of the atom diskimage_Ver.nb0
2. Hex Editor

Instructions:
1. locate the first occurrence of the following hex values:
FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 9B 4F FF FF 64 B0 00 00

2. You will see something like this:
Image

4MB = 00 00 40 00
6MB = 00 00 60 00
8MB = 00 00 80 00

Our Atom comes with 8MB pagepool, after experimenting though, 4MB is okay, 2MB still works though... It's your choice.

3. Of course, you need to flash back the new ROM to your device.

I can't found at atom exec. anyone help for exec?

Well, as the subject says... it's for XDA Atom only. try searching at xda-developers about modifying page pool in general... not device specific. I have read it once but couldn't remember where.

sory for this silly question, what is pagepool anyway?? is that internal storage? :S

i visited the said website and still could not adjust pagetool for my xda 2s for there were no nb filez found

XDA IIs is a.k.a. BLUE ANGEL. This is XDA Atom only.
