New wm2005 Ms BT Stack addon from Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd.

Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd. has kindly released a MS BT Stack addon that adds more features to our lame MS BT Stack.

Here are the services that were added to the MS BT Stack after the installation of the addon ...

- Bluetooth Printing Service

- Bluetooth Security Service

- Bluetooth Imaging Services

- Bluetooth FTP Service

- Bluettoth Audio Streamimng Service

With CHS Test version, it doesn't show my headset under Audio.

I don't see any new services on my bt device. It neither does show more services at my desktop, nor does it show more services from my desktop. I will try it with an WWE Rom, maybe I then get results

Ok, now most of you guys might have updated to the CHS version of wm2005. My phone is still running the wm2005 1.6a WWE version of wm2005 and I believe it's the most stable version of wm2005 available up to this day. The MS BT Stack in wm2005 v1.6a and 1.6b are very similar to the MS BT Stack in wm2003se.

As far as I know, the MS BT Stack has changed in versions 1.6c and 1.6c07 Chinese version. I've sent an e-mail to Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd. and asked them whether thier new addon works on the latest releases of wm2005, they were kind enough to reply back by saying that they still need time to test thier addon on those new wm2005 releases since a huge part of the MS BT Stack has been replaced with updated code.

Anyone who has older versions of wm2005 should have this addon working perfectly without any problems. As for the new services that are added by the addon, you'll find these services when you go to your bluetooth panel located at the bottom of your today screen. The new services' panels appear after the paired devices panel. Enjoy

i confirm after installation i have more option on the bleutooth setting
my rom is the 1.62CHS

i am testing the voice transfert now to the headphone

but i conform that i can make a call voice true the headphone


stell i can not transfert all voice to them

i can only lunch the SDDialer or if i change The microsoft Voice Dialer

but the are no voice true my Headphone the call or the comand go true the speaker from the PDA

Actually Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd. released v1.0 for Magician, but then they released v1.07 for Himalaya. Now according to one of our members, the addon seems to to work on his wm2005 v1.6c.07 CHS but with some minor bugs. Thats why we still need to do a bit of testing before we can actually confirm that the addon succesfully works on the latest release of wm2005.

Thanks guys for your feedback, further testing will take place to insure extended and enhanced functionality of our MS BT Stacks.

You made it man!!!!

This tool makes me hear Stereo Streaming Audio over Bluetooth!!

I used Himalaya with WM5 and Motorola HT820.

How it works:
1. After install delete your paired Headphone, hten pair again. You get a new Service called Audio.
2. In the new Tab "Audio" select you Headphone.
3. Softreset

I was searching for that for so long! THANKS!!!!!

it's working only with few headphone
my motorola carkit is not working
i will try to play with registry and i will come to you

hi there

i test the FTP service is working like a charme
you can recieve a date and you can specify where you like to be stored
default /my document
i change it to
/Storage Card/BTfile/
it working but the dont show you how send you the data

for the headset

i try a bleutooth from my friend suporting the A2dp but dont work
may be i change sameting from the registry
i must hardreset and to reinstall before testing

Just remember people to soft reset after installing then reBOND/PAIR with your devices coz the new services will come up! KEWL!
