"Working" Widcomm Wm2005

Postby qosmioengine » Fri Oct 28, 2005 1:52 pm

Hey Guys ,
I got widcomm working under Wm2005 , Widcomm is a bluetooth software which has excellent profiles and better interface.
Ive managed to find the perfect version which does not have any bugs or annoying messages .

Its 1.5000
Sry about the mistake in my signature its not 1.3500 but 1.5000

ill post or upload the files to the download area now

The installation is simple although not easy to reverse and you are installing it manually ...

Open the file widcomm 1.50 and copy all its content to /windows on your pocket pc. remember u can not remove the program unless you want to sit and delete the files one by one..
after that copy the file BTTrayCe.lnk which is in /windows to /windows/startup

after puting all that into /windows .RUN the file "Platform.reg" on your pocket pc ..or else the program will not recognise your bluetooth device ..

Soft-reset and enjoy!

AMD
(remember you can use one bluetooth stack at a time)
Other widcomm version dont work on wm2005

.

and soft-reset again Image [img] [file name=Widcom150AMD.zip size=1747297]http://buzzdev.net/components/com_simpleboard/uploaded/files/Widcom150AMD.zip[/file]

1-Did you import the registry after the install?...
2-Did you softreset wit reset button ?
3-Did you import the registry via resco explorer registry?
4- Which rom are you running?
5-Did you face any error messages when u copied all
to /windows?

Everything was fine and is done as written. no problems.
1time it started to work, but later on again the same problem,
using 1.60c with radio rom 1.08.
it is not the only program i had problem, there were also some games in which i had the memory error, which is hard to understand because i have enough space in program memory ( something like 103 MB)

installed and getting a lot of problems

wm2005 1.60c ramdisk 64 and radio 1.08.

the message "insufficient driver memory available" allways appears in every restart (soft or hard).

you can turn on and off your widcomm manager bt, but doesn't interact with the bluetoth headset today item (it still finding M$ bt stack).

hands free paired ok, but no conection with incoming or outgong calls. the headset icon appears in the upper today but not in phone skin, so the audio is not transfered to the car kit or headset.

any suggestions?
