Without them, it wouldn't have been possible!!!!
So I'm pleased to tell you that I finally succeeded to make our Camera and Record buttons work again.
Here is a little setup that you have to execute on your himalaya. It will install or update a service called camrecsvc.dll.

Now I'm pleased to tell you that I finally succeeded to make our red/green phone leds light again.
Finally our himalayas are completely back...:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Cheers,
DotFred
bugs.:
- camera button doesn't wake the ppc when it's suspended
- pushing buttons after wake up will freeze the ppc a little bit if it is synchronizing.

I made a new modification in the service to avoid pressing one of the buttons in a loop and sending billions of keystrokes.
I made another modification in one of the exported function that maybe causes the unload of the service during the boot.

A modification has been made so the leds light on when the hima when in suspend mode is awaken. Indeed, this has been noticed when an incoming call arrives (noticed by Freshster), or if the hima when suspended is put in its craddle (or connected to sync cable) and it's awaken by activesync. In both cases the leds lighted on just for one second.

I made some modifications in the service in order to control the threads that monitor the behaviour of the phone leds and the camera/record buttons. It avoids so the stop of the service. This could be needed in some situations. And also for people who don't have the buttons or leds problem.
For those who don't need the setup but just the service (dll) and the applet (cpl), you can find the last version here:
