Hi all. My xda exec is stuck at o2 screen. What I did is: - Flashing a WM 6 ROM without unlocking it 'cause UK o2 pda phones are not locked; it got stuck in bootloader mode then with Serial on top and V 2.01 at the bottom; Serial changes to USB when device connected to laptop via USB - Using Exit BL utility; the o2 screen came up - flashing the ROM again, when process is completed it rebooted and got stuck at o2 screen - unlocking it by HTC_Universal_SIM_unlockerv1 following instruction here http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Uni_Simlock_by_Buzz_and_team ; when radio upgrade is completed it did not reboot itself I repeated the last step several times but nothing changes. Please help? Thanks a lot in advance.

10. Now you have to hard reset your device. Press simultaneously: Reset Button + CameraButton + RecordButton. Hold them pressed until the "Boot Options" menu appears on the screen. Select the options as follows: (to select items use Record Button, to change values use Camera Button) Enable KITL -> NO Clean Registry Hive -> YES Format Storage -> YES When done, press DPad and wait until OS starts. --> how can i hard reset if my Dpad don't work, is there any other issu please?

POPCON ROM
07/22/2008 03:37AM
Forum: ROM development • Author: SpudNuts
I have a Samsung fridge that has a TV in it. This TV runs windows CE and a program called "POPCON" (I think it means popular convergence). I want to modify the rom so that I can get it to boot up with a desktop instead of the POPCON. If I need POPCON then I'll place an icon on the desktop. I can get access to the .hv files (default, boot, and such) but never worked with CE before other than my HTC Touch phone. It also runs the TV signal wireless via 802.11b and that would let me connect it to my wireless network if I want to pull down info while in the kitchen. I can get into the "Windows" folder and see explorer.exe and a whole bunch of other files, the POPCON is in its own partition or drive but there is a .exe file in the parent folder. There are two drives \ - I suspect this is root, size is 55megs with 51megs available, type is TFAT popcon is the name of the other partition and it doesn't show a size but is FAT32 Almost every .ini files states "LocalizedResourceName=@\Windows\ceshell.dll,-20488" so i'm a bit lost as to how CE boots up. Now, before you think that I paid a bundle for this, your wrong. The fridge is worth about $3,500 but since the guys a Lowes didn't have a clue how to set it up upon delivery, they brought it back and marked it down as damaged electronics for $850. I scooped it up in a heartbeat, read the book and now have a great TV with a fridge stuck to it. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appriceated.
Re: WM6.1 Professional(build 19209) RAMDisk-16MB Pagepool size-32MB for Hima

Forum: Himalaya WM2006 • Author: TOCA
Exactly :) I have run the doc_tool, and I do have the 30MB storage, but I do not need 70+MB for running programs, as most programs do not use more than 5MB a piece, I think the worst RAM hog I've ever encountered used 17MB during startup. Even video in full screen does not take up more than 20 - 25MB on a bad day, most likely it will only use 10 - 15MB of RAM. What I would like however, is more storage RAM, 30MB is way to little for my needs, since I use a lot of programs, that needs direct memory access, like different text input programs/keyboards, task mannagers, calendar programs, etc., and I use different SD cards for different tasks, and do not want my job related files on my off time card, and visa versa (security and peace of mind). So if it is at all possible, then even a 50/50 split of the RAM would be a huge leap into my way of using my Himalaya, but 70/30 would be much better. The 30/70 split we get with this ROM, is a step back in time in my humble opinion, it's usable but not the best solution. BTW. Did I mention the speed of this thing? I'm still amazed at how it out paces my iPAQ 210 powerhouse, mostly in games. That is soooo sweet :)
Run hima_doc_tool for increasing the storage from 15MB to 30MB. Search the forum for this tool, as I dont have at present the ready link with me to mention....
Shekhar... I think he already as used hima_doc_tool. He said he has 30,53 in Storage and 77,23 in Program... what I think he wanted is the other way around... 77,23 in Storage and 30,53 in Program. But I think there's no way around it... (or is there?)
